Went to the Home Depot today to look at materials for the prop rifle I’m gonna build… looks like I’ll have to redo some measurements based on what I was able to find.
For the scope, the two PVC pieces I found for the middle section aren’t that proportional to the two fat sections, plus they aren’t long enough. Either I’ll have to find a way to attach them seamlessly or buy a whole pipe and cut it down [can you even buy sections of pipes? I don’t need the whole thing].
The stock will be 3-4 layers of 1/2” thick MDF which I’ll have to sand forever. The rest of the stuff in the middle is wood bits. Not sure how I’m going to make the trigger. Boyfriend asked if I was doing an actual laser and I told him that I would if I knew electronics.
