  2. Questions for cosplayers who have made gun props

What did you guys do for your ‘non-removable orange tip’ at the end of the barrel?

I have a large rifle then I need to do that for but I don’t want to have a permanent paintjob if I want to use it for personal photoshoots.  I would just use a wrapping of bright orange tape, but I don’t know if it’d count.  Thoughts?

Holy hell, it looks much bigger after the scope is attached.  Still need to make the laser sight, trigger, lens cover and then weather and touch up the paint.

Woooooo almost. The top part isn’t glued to the barrel yet. And the laser and wire haven’t been added.

Knew it was a good idea to hang on to this mannequin!  Not looking forward to pinning all the bias tape though.

  10. Small progress stuff.  Make a quiver using a cardboard base and faux leather vinyl.  For the cardboard, I used a piece cut from a heavy duty shipping box and hot glued the vinyl on top.  It’s actually very sturdy.

The jarate jar was just one of those gummy vitamin jars with the label peeled off and cap spray painted gold.  I don’t trust myself to carry a glass mason jar around so this plastic one has a similar shape without being easily breakable.
